The City of Crossroads
The city of Crossroads was built amidst the green grasses of a gentle field and is truly a technological city. Its allure is matched by the backdrop of modest hills which have helped shape the city to what it is today. The riches these hills brought were of great importance, but they were also influential when it came to architectural designs as the vast majority of buildings have been built in various round shapes and sizes, which mimics the playfulness of the hills around them. The skyline is crowded with modest skyscrapers and they look astonishingly beautiful all together. Health and services are faultless in Crossroads and it has attracted a lot of attention. Countless cultures have left their mark not just on the city's history, but also upon the city's identity. What historically was a city of few cultures has grown into a multicultural hub. The City of Crossroads and the entire region was only able to grow into a true separate nation because of the problems that plagued Pere. After the original City of Pere was destroyed by twin adult green dragons, the King of Pere needed a new home for his people. He employed the Golden Gears Guild into building the now standing City of Pere. In place of gold and wealth he gave a sizable chunk of his own lands to the Golden Gears Guild.
After the City of Pere was built, the Golden Gears Guild got to work building the city of crossroads. It was at the time barely a village. As they began stretching across the lands. The great bridge of Crossroads was then designed and shortly after build. The great bridge crosses the where the Tennbrous and inner seas connect. The great draw bridge speaks of the incredible engineering capabilty of the Golden Gears Guild and how much power they have. The building of the bridge created much strife between the Crossroads City State and the Earth Druids of Bouldare and Ubul.
